Faculty Boot Camp 2.0
This is the planning blog for the "Faculty Boot Camp". It will provide services to new faculty by way of training resources, mentorship and more. It will also allow for seasoned faculty to provide mentorship, and support to new faculty. Additionally, faculty that post blogs have an incentive to create articles via Google adsense and any ad revenues within their article will go directly to the author (once he/she creates an adsense account).
Each time an article is posted, Google ads will appear within the article. With Google adsense, the advertisement will automatically scan the article and generate a corresponding advertisement. For example, if an author posts an article such as "Utilizing web cams in the classroom", the ad will generate links to vendors selling web cameras or classroom technology equipment.
If a visitor clicks the vendor's link, the author gets paid a fixed amount (depending on the vendor). If a visitor clicks the link and continues to purchase an item, the author gets a percentage of the sale.
This is a win-win website!
